1. MAGYAR - HATÁRŐRSÉG 2006
A Magyar Posta – három éven keresztül – forgalmi bélyeget bocsát ki a határőrség munkája iránti tisztelet jeleként.
[Magyarországon a honfoglalás után megkezdődött, majd a Magyar Királyság megszervezésének időszakára alakult ki az államhatár.
A korai magyar határőrizet megszilárdítása és a határvédelem megszervezése I. Szent László nevéhez fűződik. Emlékét a Határőrség ma is őrzi, védőszentjükké választották, és Szent László napja a Határőrség Napja lett.
A bélyegkép főmotívuma az éleslátást és őrködést szimbolizáló sólyom, de megtalálható rajta a Határőrség címere és a határőrök egyenruháját díszítő turulmadarat ábrázoló hímzés is. Az alnyomatot a hímzett határvadász zászló részlete díszíti. Az alkalmi borítékon egy határátkelőhely látható, a bélyegző grafikáját a határátkeléskor használt bélyegző stilizált rajza díszíti.

Magyar Posta has for three years been issuing regular stamps as a mark of respect for the work of the Border Guard.
Following the conquest of Hungary by the Magyar tribes, the borders of the state began to be delineated during the organisation of the kingdom of Hungary. The consolidation of the guard to protect the border is associated with the name of St King Ladislaus.
